Nancy Brockman Dudley, 88 of Columbus, GA formerly of Greenville, SC died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Midtown Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Mt. View Cemetery in Greer, SC. according to Wood Mortuary 300 West Poinsett St. Greer S.C. 29650. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Dudley was born June 14, 1925 in Greenville, South Caroline daughter of the late Dr. William Thomas Brockman and Burnice Wood Brockman. She graduated from Greenville High School, attended Saint Mary's School in Raleigh, NC, Furman University and was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School in New York in 1946. She was a member of Christ Church, the Junior League, the Tuesday Study Club, the Quadrille and the Assembly in Greenville.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bondurant Dudley and son, Charles William Lively, III.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Brockman "Tom" Lively and wife Terri; grandsons, Brock Lively, Bryant Lively and Jake Lively; niece, Mary Brockman Collins and nephew, William Thomas Brockman.
Nancy was a wonderful mother, special friend and will be greatly missed by all.
