Nadine H. Jones, 86, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Columbus Independent Baptist Church 1909 Morris Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Keith Taylor officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Jones was born April 21, 1925 in Carbon Hill, AL daughter of the late Melvin S. and Nancy Whited Hill. She was the principal and teacher at Edgewood Christian School for 30 years. She was a member of Columbus Independent Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth B. Jones.
Survivors include her four children, Nancy Priest (James) of Columbus, GA, Barbara Crider (Allan) of Racine, WI, Kenneth Jones of Columbus, GA and Jeffrey Jones of Columbus, GA, one sister, Lorene Livingston (Isaiah) of Cullman, AL, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
