Myrtle R. Rolison, 81, of Seale, AL died Monday, May 17, 2010 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Mayhew officiating. A private interment will be held in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Rolison was born January 25, 1929 in Dothan, AL daughter of the late Cody Alton Pearce and Ruby Helms Pearce. She was a locksmith for Jordan Bicycle Shop, she worked as a weaver with Swift Eagle and Bibb Mills, and later she worked as a Cafeteria Cook for the Muscogee County School System. She was a member of Avalon Baptist Church in Seale, AL. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tex Rolison and several brothers and sisters.
