Phenix City, AL - Myrtle Elizabeth Moore, 82 of Phenix City died Friday, July 2, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL with Rev. Sammy Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 till 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore was born October 23, 1927 in Phenix City, Alabama daughter of the late Elsie Frazier Wynn and Lovic Wynn. She was the owner of Jowers Road Beauty Salon and was a member of Shady Woods Baptist Church. She will always be remembered for loving and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry D. Moore.
Survivors include her daughter Donna Guinn Taylor and husband William of Phenix City, AL; granddaughter Katie Guinn of Phenix City, AL; sisters, Margaret Barbay and husband Don of Beaumont, TX and Joyce Litton of Buna, TX; sisters-in-law, Peggy Wynn and Carolyn Shelton both of Phenix City, AL; devoted cousin, Marshall "Sonny" Burke of Phenix City and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
