Myrtice V. Ring, 87, of Phenix City, AL. died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be held in Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ring was born July 04, 1932 in Newell, AL. daughter of the late Hershel and Claudia Smith Kittle. She worked in retail sales for Kiralfy's women's clothing store and Learners dress shop. After retail sales, Mrs. Ring worked as a sitter and a nurse's aid for St Francis Hospital. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Ring was preceded in death by her husband Gabriel Ring, brother, Lawrence Kittle and son-in-law, Paul Matthews.
Survivors include her children, Anita Matthews of Phenix City, AL; Ann Thombley (Joe) of Opelika, AL; Sharon Clark (Ray) of Midland, GA; sisters, Jo Merritt (Billy) of Tifton, GA; Florence Latham of Fitzgerald, GA; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kittle of Mystic, GA; 9 grandchildren, Wayne Corbitt (Vanessa), Brian Corbitt (Laura), Nikki Parish, Shawn Clark (Laura), Olivia Thombley, Trey Thombley, Michelle Cobb, Tommy Clark (Matt), Robbie Clark (Heather) and 5 great-grandchildren.
