(Ret.) MSGT Thomas G. Jessee, 84, Columbus, GA died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside Services with full military honors will be held 11:00 AM, Friday March 14, 2014 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor Stephanie Boaz officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
(Ret.) MSGT Jessee was born November 10, 1929 in Lebanon, VA son of the late Ellis Jessee and Lucy Jessee. He served in the United States Army for 26 years serving two tours in Korea and one in Vietnam. He was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church and retired from the Civil Service as an Engineer.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Elfriede Lang Jessee.
Survivors include one son, William "Bill" Jessee of Fortson, GA; daughters, Ella Littlejohn of Cape Coral, FL and Susie Hall (Jeffrey) of McDonough, GA; five grandchildren, Jennipher Mincey, Jessica Hall, Angie Littlejohn, Adam Littlejohn, and Joshua Littlejohn; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
