Morgan D. Davis, 76 of Phenix City, AL died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Davis was born April 2, 1937 in Ft. Valley, Georgia son of the late J. D. Davis and Virginia Christine Johnson Davis. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He was the owner of a Murray's Cookie Franchise. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid University of Alabama fan.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Irwin L. Davis, Dorothy Meyer, Louise Nicholson and Walter Ray Davis.
Survivors include his sisters, Virginia D. Falk of Phenix
City, AL and Barbara Michael of St. Petersburg, GA; brother, Jack Davis and wife Diane of Dothan, AL and numerous nieces and nephews.
