Mollie Pearl Cyree

Mollie Pearl Cyree, 95, of Phenix City, AL went to Heaven on November 23, 2010. She was home and with family when the Lord came for her.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Judd Stinson, Dr. John Paul Thomas, and Dr. Hal Brady officiating. She will be laid to rest at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday before the service from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mollie was born September 30, 1915 near Hogansville, GA daughter of the late James and Margaret Brown Williamson. She married Reverend Irie Cyree on December 3, 1945. They made a home in Columbus, GA and followed the needs of the Methodist Church to many towns in South Georgia. Mollie served the Lord by teaching children how to make arts and crafts as well as helping those in need. Mollie and Irie retired to Phenix City, AL in 1987.
Mollie is survived by her husband, Reverend Irie Cyree of Phenix City, AL, three children, Tommy and Sister Milligan of Panama City, FL, Don and Marie Cyree of West Point, GA, Betty and Charlie Holley of Newnan, GA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews who she loved as her own.
Mollie, better known as MoMo to many, touched the lives of all that knew her with her boundless giving and acceptance.
The family would like to thank Columbus Hospice for the care they gave Mrs. Cyree.
