Minnie Elizabeth Harbert

The funeral service of Minnie Elizabeth Harbert, 90 of Columbus, GA., who died January 15, 2020 at The Oaks at Grove Park, will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday January 20, 2020 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harbert was born July 4, 1929 in Brundidge, AL., daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Genie Newberry Rodgers. She was the widow of the love of her life, the late Dowling G. Harbert, to whom she was married to for sixty four and half years. She was a retired cosmetologist and she was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sisters Annie Jean Rodgers and Mary Olive Hagler and two brothers Luther Fred Rodgers and Thomas Lamar Rodgers.
She is survived by her niece Martha McGowan of Columbus, GA., great-nieces Heather McGowan, Roswell, GA., and Meredith McGowan, Columbus, GA., niece Betty Paulk (Tim), Salem, AL. , nephew Larry Rodgers (Nancy), Columbus, GA. and her sister in law Mildred Rodgers, of Columbus, GA. and several other nieces and nephews
