Mildred Ann Tucker, 88, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Brittany House in Marietta, GA.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Beallwood Baptist Church 4650 Veterans Parkway Columbus, GA 31904 with Rev. Billy Duncan officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Tucker was born February 20, 1928 in Moultrie, GA daughter of the late Emory Dalton McGlamry and Edna Roberts McGlamry. She was a homemaker and a member of Beallwood Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Clyde Tucker.
Survivors include her son, Larry Clyde Tucker (Margerette), daughters, Sylvia Ann Tucker Hogue, Wanda Gail Tucker Upchurch and Pamela Jean Tucker Saknini (Dan), sisters, Patsy Dean (Raymond) and Estelle Bobst, brother, Emory Dalton McGlamry, Jr. (Becky), five grandchildren, David Tucker (Amy), Johnathan Tucker (Shea), Timothy Upchurch, Justin Saknini (Marci) and Phillip Upchurch, and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Beallwood Baptist Church or to The Gideons International P.O. Box 140800 Nashville, TN 37214.
