Mildred Ray Coulter, 88, of Columbus, Ga.,died Monday, December 24, 2018 at the River Towne Center.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday December 28, 2018 at Beallwood Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Duncan officiating. There will be a private interment at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907.
Mrs. Coulter was born March 22, 1930 in Manchester, Ga. daughter of the late Irvin Ray and Lester West. She was a lifelong member of Beallwood Baptist Church where she was very active with the nursery and member of WMU. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Coulter.
Survivors include daughters Linda Owens (Arthur), of Covington, Ga., Nancy McDonald (Ronald) of Cataula, Ga., Brenda Matthews (Steve) of Columbus, Ga., sister Joyce Moffitt (C.L.) of Columbus, Ga., brother Fred Ray of Columbus, Ga., grandchildren, Jeff Owens,
Chris Owens, Tammy Hanfman, Terrie George, Christy Lundy, and Amy Faul, and ten great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make contributions to Columbus Hospice House 7020 Macon Road Columbus, Ga. 31909.
