Mike "The Greek" Galanos, 78 of Davie, FL died Friday, September 6, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Father David Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mike was born August 23, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York son of the late Alexander Galanos and Helen Commonis Galanos. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and retired food and beverage manager.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Petrushak Galanos of Davie, FL; daughter, Michelle Szentadorjany and husband Vincent of Upatoi, GA; granddaughter, Alysa Szentadorjany of Upatoi, GA; aunt, Mary Teris of Staten Island, NY; cousin, Elaina Morakis of Staten Island, NY; sister-in-laws , Shirley Warga of Easton, PA and Marion Smith of Cape Coral, FL and other family members.
