Michelle Kay Schiavone

Michelle Kay Schiavone, 59, of Columbus, GA, died peacefully at home Saturday, October 1, 2022.

Michelle was born February 14, 1963 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Dale and Kay Schiavone. With her family, Michelle lived in the upper Midwest and Texarkana before moving to Columbus, Georgia.

With her ebullient personality, infectious smile and stunning beauty, she made fast and lifelong friendships at Richards Junior High and Hardaway High School, and in her accomplished banking career.

Michelle loved to decorate for holidays, always helping her mother recreate family traditions. Christmas was a special holiday; the house would fill with the smells of cookies, cakes and candy. She enjoyed traveling (especially to the beach) but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her nephews and family members and friends. She was a cat collector, and especially favored her beloved Tulabell.

Michelle is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Kay Schiavone, and nephew Malcolm “Mac” Forte IV.

She is survived by brother Rocco Schiavone, sister Renee Schiavone-Forte, dearly loved nephews Ben Forte, Clayton Forte and Camden Schiavone. Bobby Carr was a special friend and long-time companion.
