Michael Livingston Ward, 53, of Midland, GA died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Will Knowles officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Ward was born November 15, 1965 in Ft. Benning, GA son of the late Thomas Eugene Ward, Jr. and Ann McQuin Ward. He was a truck driver for Roadmaster Trucking. He loved driving trucks, loved to BBQ where he won awards for his ribs and was an avid UGA fan.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Vikky Ward of Midland, GA, sister, Laurie Ann Tidwell (Dennis) of Alpharetta, GA, brothers, David Patrick Ward (Diane) of Fortson, GA, Kevin Thomas Ward (Sharon) of Midland, GA, Kerry Maurice Ward (Karen) of Miramar, FL and Mark Stephen Ward of Columbus, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association 7167 Mobley Walk Dr. Columbus, GA 31904.
