Michael Davis Spitzmiller

Michael “Spitz” “Mike” Davis Spitzmiller, 67, of Cataula, GA, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 31, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home  and Crematory with Dr. Buddy Cooper officiating. The family will receive following the service at the funeral home.

Michael was born April 3, 1955 to Bob F. Spitzmiller and Carmalyn Davis Spitzmiller. He was the manager of Bull Creek since 1987. He loved to hunt, fish, be outdoors, boating and shooting his bow. He was a big sports fan including the Atlanta Braves and college football. Mike was a definitely a gun person and the protector of the family.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Marie Frazier Spitzmiller of Cataula, GA, children, Brittney Wolf (Trevor) of Columbus, GA, Benjamin “Ben” Michael Spitzmiller (Lizzy) of Ellerslie, GA, Logan Jacob (LJ) Spitzmiller of Cataula, GA, siblings, Brian Fredrick Spitzmiller of Atlanta, GA, John David Spitzmiller (Kina) of Fortson, GA, niece, Kali Elizabeth Walker (Jeremy) of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Bentley, T.J. and Cooper.
