Kelley, Mr. Michael O'Bryan , ( US Army, Ret.) 70 of Columbus, GA. Died Tuesday March 31, 2020 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center. Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 Crisis the family will have a private service Saturday at 2:00 PM. Public memorial services with full military honors will be held as soon as the crisis subsides.
Mr. Kelley was born July 16, 1949, son of the late Paul C. Kelley and Blanche Walsh Kelley. He was retired from the U.S. Army, having served 21 years and also was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a graduate of Troy University. He loved Georgia Bulldog Football and also played football at Union County High School in Blairsville, GA. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Kelley, sister, Sandra Kelley Robinson and step-son, Johnny Slocum.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Jean Kelley, Columbus, GA, sons, Michael Kelley, Marietta, GA, and Richard Kelley, Carson City, NV, Step children, Victoria Lynn Slocum Leatherman (Mark), Richard Anthony Slocum (Stephanie), Pensacola, FL. and Lisa Marie Hand (William), Columbus, GA, sister, Elaine Queen (Terry), Blairsville, GA. grandchildren, James Ryan Slocum, Megan Corcoran, Andrew B.Leatherman, Tinsli Kelley, Sebastian Kelley, Diego Kelley, Conner Slocum, Emily Hand.
