Michael Bruce Boyette, 73, Columbus, Georgia died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Andy Rutherford officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mr. Boyette was born March 18, 1941 in Columbus, GA, son of the late James "Jack" Ralph Boyette and Thelma Cannon Boyette. He worked most of his life as a manager of several departments at Swift Textiles Mfg. He was a member of Landmark Church of the Nazarene in Phenix City, AL. and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Juanita "Ann" Boyette.
Survivors include two sons, James Michael Boyette (Jill) of Phenix City, AL and Steven Mark Boyette (Sherry) of Hamilton, GA; sister, Barbara Galuska (George) of Montana; brother, Bennie "Pete" Boyette of LaGrange, GA; seven grandchildren, Hannah Boyette Burton, Rachel Arce (David), Elisabeth Proia (Michael), Aimee Boyette, Aaron Boyette, Michael Boyette and Laura Boyette; and eight great grandchildren.
