Michael Cecil Bass, 40, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend David Rathel and Reverend Michael Heath officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers; Jerry Gowen, Mark Daniel, Larry Bass, Randy Hodge, Marty Poole, and Gene Whitten. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Bass was born November 5, 1969 in Columbus, GA son of Cecil Lamar and Patricia Ann Bass of Columbus, GA. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was currently attending Eastwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Cecil Lamar and Patricia Ann Bass, one daughter, Krystle Bass, one sister, Donna Gowen (Jerry), paternal grandmother, Mary Katherine Williams, one niece, Jennifer Page, one nephew, Jerry Gowen, Jr. all of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
