Michael "Andy" McCook, 57, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Greg Lawrence officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Andy was born August 18, 1959 in Aberdeen, MD son of Ozelee McCook of Box Springs, GA and the late Shirley Harper McCook. He retired after 27 years as a technician for Pratt Whitney and was a U.S. Marine Veteran.
Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Randall McCook, Sr.
Survivors include his father, Ozelee "Oz" McCook of Box Springs, GA, brother, Thomas "Randy" McCook of Box Springs, GA, and his favorite dog, Harley.
