Melba Earlene Masters Solomon, 73, of Phenix City, AL, became a Guardian Angel, December 12, 2009 after passing away at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

She was born January 24, 1936 in Ingram, TX to the late Elton Earl and Mina Millicent Masters. Mrs. Solomon was a life long homemaker and a devoted member of the Phenix City Church of Christ.

The family will be accepting visitors Monday December 14 between 6-8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home 613 14th Street Phenix City. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday December 15, 2009 at Colonial Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Vaughn officiating. Mrs. Solomon will be lain to rest in Lakeview Memory Gardens cemetery.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Solomon was preceded in passing by her sister, Ann Lou Carthen, and son-in-law, Bobby Gene Jones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Edward D. Solomon, two brothers, Elton Masters (Marsha) of Brackenridge, TX and Harry Masters (Janie) of Beaumont, TX, two daughters, Melba Elaine Solomon Oâ
