Melba C. Bryant

Melba C. Bryant, 84, of Pine Lake, GA formerly of Columbus, GA died Saturday July 28, 2012 at Odyssey Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Bryant was born January 3, 1928 in Chattahoochee County, GA., daughter of the late Willie Clifford Cook and late Ophelia Pate Cook. She was a homemaker and had lived in Columbus until the last thirteen years.
Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Bryant, four sisters, five brothers and great granddaughter Kaylie E. Goddard.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Bryant McCall; two grandchildren, Shannon Adair Goddard and Meredith Bryant Bradford; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
