Megan Russell Moyer, beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend passed into God's glory on February, 7, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Megan was born on February 13, 1986 in Columbus, GA to David Keith Moyer and Melissa Stamey Thaxton. Megan never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel like family from the moment they met. A true caregiver at heart, she saw the good in everyone and greeted life with a radiant smile. Her love for Auburn football was unmatched. She bled orange and blue, spending many Saturdays in the stands with her family cheering on the Tigers. Her spirit will live on in the love she gave, the laughter she shared and the daughter who brought her so much pride.
She is survived by her father, Keith Moyer (Allyson) of Columbus, GA, mother, Melissa Stamey Thaxton (James) of Erie, PA, daughter, Olivia Grace Thaxton of Erie, PA, sisters, Caroline P. Moyer and Brendle Moyer of Columbus, GA, Sarah Elizabeth Bohlander of Erie, PA, brother, Jeffrey Alan Bohlander of Pensacola, FL, grandmother, Anita Stamey of Cataula, GA, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dr. Charles Stamey and her grandparents, Ellwood and Caroline Hutt Moyer.
