Mazella W. Daughtry, 84 of Phenix City died at her home Monday, September 6, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Golden Acres Assembly of God Church with Rev. Wayne Prickett and Rev. Frances Corbin officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 till 8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Daughtry was born December 20, 1925 in Geneva County, Alabama daughter of the late Emma Ammons and A. S. Watson. She retired from Columbus Carpet Mills after 36 years as a machine operator. She was a member of Golden Acres Assembly of God Church. She loved to work in her garden, doing arts and crafts and going to yard sales. She was preceded in death by her husband William L. Daughtry.
Survivors include her daughters Sue Jenkins of Phenix City, AL and Marilyn Mroz of Salem, AL; son Mike Daughtry of Ft. Mitchell, AL; ten grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
