Mayzell Kitchens, 79, of Seale, AL died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home.
Graveside services will be held 12 Noon Friday, May 6, 2011 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Reverend Dan Deliz officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL 36867.
Mrs. Kitchens was born April 23, 1932 in Abbotsburg, NC daughter of the late Curtis and Sudie Holt Watts. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Kitchens, Jr and sister, Gladys Stephens.
Survivors include her two daughters, Cynthia Gieger of Seale, AL and Debbie Jacobs of Seale, AL, son, Richard Kitchens of Sun, LA, brother, Robert Holt of Glouster, VA, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
