Mattie Dell Forlines, 96, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at The Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rex Edward and Mr. Jim Prescott officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m. according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Forlines was born November 11, 1914 in Enterprise, AL daughter of the late Albert Bruce and Alberta Humphries Bean. She retired as a tailor from Schwobit Clothing and was the owner of B & B Cafe. She was also a member of Rosehill Baptist Church since 1947.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Morris Forlines and son, Buford Forlines.
Survivors include her two sons, Dewayne Forlines (Evelyn) of Anniston, AL and Bruce Forlines (Evalyn) of Tavares, FL, eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
