Mathew Benjamin Harp, 35, of Peachtree City, GA died Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Sacred Journey Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 18, 2023 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Mr. Dale Kratchen and Mr. Ron Torgersen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. An interment will be held following the services at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Cusseta, Georgia.
Mathew was born February 12, 1988 to Walter “Rhett” Harp and Cynthia Dawn Adler. He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mathew loved to watch movies, play video games, watch the Georgia Bulldogs play football, and would always make people happy and would tell everyone he loved them. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry King Harp, Jr.
He is survived by his father, Walter “Rhett” Harp of Columbus, GA, mother, Cynthia Dawn Adler (David) of Peachtree City, GA, grandmother, Annelle Darby Harp of Columbus, GA, maternal grandparents, Dale and Beverly Kratchen of Peachtree City, siblings, Mindy Stocker (Zac) of N Logan, UT, Lauren Tover (Chris) of Senoia, GA, Alexis Cooper (John) of Newnan, GA, Anniston Adcock of Peachtree City, GA, Riley Strahler of Peachtree City, GA, nephew, Brayden Seay of Griffin, GA and niece Ember Stocker of N Logan, UT.
