Mary Frances Agerton Yates, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Richland, Georgia on Monday, September 16, 2024.
She was born August 18, 1942 in Winter Haven, FL to the late Wiley Woodrow Agerton and Frances Agerton.
Mary retired from Coca Cola Foods division in Auburndale, FL in 1998. She was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bartow, FL. She loved her family and spending time together. Most of all she loved her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
Mary was the beloved wife of 62 years to Dennis Yates, much loved mother of Michael Yates (Kim) and Renee DeLuca. Cherished grandmother of Alex Rakestraw (Shawna), Megan Yates (Katie), Haley Duncan (Jeremy) and Maddox Yates. Great grandmother of Colton, Braelyn, Paige, Ryleigh, Abby and Easton. Dear sister of Terry Agerton (Cindy), Sister-in-law of Kurt Yates. Beloved niece of Betty Cook. Remembered by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at the Yates Family Cemetery in Richland, GA on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Please contact the family for further details of the arrangements.
