Mary Ella Hart, 89, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held 12 Noon E.S.T., Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Piney Grove Cemetery, Hwy 173, Headland, AL. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 till 7 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Hart was born May 15, 1921 in Newville, AL daughter of the late Sam & Leola Roney McClenny. She retired from Columbus Mills. Her greatest love was her family and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Hart, three brothers, Joe, Jack and Bill McClenny and a special nephew, Sammy McClenny.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Hart (Linda) and Charles Hart (Joannah) both of Fortson, GA; her daughters, Sherry Cowherd (Ed) of Union Point, GA; Susan Whitehead of Columbus, GA and Karen Gilmore (Lowell) of Geneva, AL; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
