Mary Jo Hanson, 92, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her residence.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mary Jo was born May 10, 1929 in Pendleton County, KY, daughter of the late Hobart Pugh and Helen Rush Pugh. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Adrian Hanson.
Survivors include her son, Phil Hanson (Cynthia) of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Kim Cole of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Trevor Hanson (Jessica) of Clearwater, FL, Trisha Olson (Brian) of Peapack, NJ, Evan McChesney (Kyle) or Erie, PA, Trey Cole of Columbus, GA; great grandchildren, Alana Hanson, Adrian Hanson, Brendan Olson, Bailey Olson, Brooke Olson, Owyn McChesney; brother, Charles Pugh of High Springs, FL; nephews, Mike Cushman (Susan), and Mark Cushman.
