Mary Edd Mundy Brown, 54, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at her home.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Britt David Baptist Church 2801 W. Britt David Rd. Columbus, GA 31909 with Dr. Tim Jones, Mr. Alan Sinquefield, and Reverend G.T. Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Brown was born June 13, 1957 in Anniston, AL daughter of Edward Mundy of Columbus, GA and the late Mary Catherine Warren Mundy. She worked for Green Point Mortgage Company and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Oxford, AL.
Other than her father, she is survived by her daughter, Catherine Broumley (Daniel) of Smiths, AL, sisters, Stella Sinquefield (Rusty) of Columbus, GA and Bettye Robertson (Louis) of Cullman, AL, brothers, Johnny Mundy (Cindy) of Eastaboga, AL and Carl Lynn Mundy (Carolyn) of Smiths, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
