Mary Lou Smith Collins, 87, of Columbus, GA died Friday, January 18, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 24, 2019 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Watson McKemie officiating. A private interment will be held at Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Collins was born July 31, 1931 in Columbus, GA to the late Curtis Jackson Smith and Addie Lou Walden Smith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Loyd Collins, Sr., her second husband, Edward Kneidinger, and a son, Benjamin Loyd Collins, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky English (Larry) of Columbus, GA; sister, Betty Smith of Columbus, GA; and a grandson, Shawn Carter of Columbus, GA.
