Mary E. McMullen Brooks 72 of Phenix City, Al., died Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Gene Forehand officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home Columbus.
Mrs. Brooks was born December 16, 1941 in Columbus, Ga. daughter of the late George Bonner McMullen and Thelma Earlene Howard McMullen. She was a active member and former Secretary of 1st Congregational Christian Church in Phenix City, Al. member of the Business Women of America and was a Graduate of Perry's Business School.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years James Lunsford Brooks of Phenix City, Al., one sister Bonnie K. McMullen Johnston (Dick) of Phenix City, Al. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
