Mary Lois Ashcraft, 71, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, October 28,2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with David Abney and Colt Abney officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Ashcraft was born November 4, 1941 in Goodman, AL, daughter of the late G. C. Catrett and Maudine Siggers Taylor. She retired from the State of Georgia in Food Services. She was a Baptist by faith and loved her family and friends.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Morris E. Catrett, Sherman Catrett, Sebe Catrett, Jr., Shirley Lee Norman and Willa Holland.
Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Abney (David) of Columbus, GA, Charlene Hicks of Eufaula, AL, Ronda Akin (John) of Box Springs, GA and Susan Patrick (Wayne) of Box Springs, GA; sister, Jean Taylor (Billy) of Columbus, GA; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
