Mary Catherine Adair

Mary Catherine Adair, 31, entered eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on March 2, 2022. She will deeply be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Brown Springs Church of God. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31097 and at Brown Springs Church one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be held at Brown Spring Church Cemetery.

On January 30, 1991, a beautiful blue eyed baby girl was born to Misty Michelle Stubbs (Carden) and Oliver Figueroa. Mary Catherine graduated Marion County High School on May 22, 2010. She married the love of her life, her husband, Timothy Adair on September 24, 2010, and that was one of the happiest days of her life. Everyone that knew Mary Catherine knew she had a heart of gold and a green thumb. She was very passionate about her gardening. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, she could grow it all. Mary Catherine would give you the shirt off her back if she believed that it would make you smile. She loved nature and going on adventures. She had a caring, loving soul and did not hesitate to lend a hand to anyone in need of help. She’s a mother of 3 amazing boys, whom she had a deep love for.

Mary Catherine was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, Fred and Catherine Carden, her loving Opi, Luis Figueroa, her loving dad Dwight Stubbs, nieces, Emma, Raygen, Madelyn.

Mary Catherine is survived by her husband of 11 years Timothy Adair, her sons Jason (10), Leland (8), and Ethan (2) Adair. Her mother, Misty Michelle Stubbs (Carden) of Mauk, GA, her father, Oliver (Dawn) Figueroa of Columbus, GA. Her Omi, Brigitte Figueroa of Midland, GA and Nana, Joan Moore of Columbus, GA. Sisters, Andee Guthrie, of Columbus, GA, Lauren (Lee) Garrett of Columbus, GA, Carol Stubbs (Craig) of Mauk, GA, Chelsea (Mark) Icenhour of Mauk, GA, two brothers Zachery (Breanna) Figueroa of Smith Station, AL, and Steven Stubbs of Buena Vista, GA. Her uncles, Anthony Figueroa of Marietta, GA and Chris (Kathy) Figueroa of Athens, GA. Aunt, Rachel Moore of Columbus, GA. Her cousins, Gavin and Hadley Figueroa, Alyssia and Amani Moore and Serenity Jackson. We would also like to recognize her extended family, Iris and Forrest Dobbs, Patrick (Chelsea) Adair and Forrest (Chelsey) Dobbs all of Johnson City, TN. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Madison, Matthew, Austin, Landon, Isabella, Connor, Finley, Bella, Sawyer, Levi, Joseph and baby Garrett.
