Martin Otega Steverson, 48, of Woodland, GA, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church, Hwy 41 Woodland, GA with Pastor Tracy Neal officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the Church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Steverson was born January 9, 1968 in Warm Springs, GA, son of the late Dan Steverson Jr and Emma Huff Steverson. He was a 1986 graduate of Central High in Talbotton, GA and served 4 years in the Navy. Mr. Steverson worked in logistics at Wal-Mart's Distribution Center in LaGrange, GA.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandquilius Copeland of Harris County, GA; sister, Kathy Steverson of Columbus, GA; brother, Greg Steverson (Matilda) of LaGrange, GA, Rodney Steverson of Woodland, GA and Ariek Steverson (Chasity) of Henry Co, Ga; nieces and nephews, Chandra Brown (Michael), Carmen Steverson, Kynnedy Steverson, Dan Robert Marion; great nephew, Jaxson Brown and several aunts and uncles.
