Phenix City, AL - Martha Sue Sharpe Parrish, 74 of Phenix City died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Canterbury Health Facility.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2010 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL. A private interment will be held at Crawford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 till 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parrish was born July 1, 1935 in Crawford, AL daughter of the late Myrtle Johns Sharpe and Ira Sharpe. She was a homemaker and a baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husbands
James D. Redden and Joe Parrish, daughter Donna Marie Redden and sisters Shirley Booker and Linda VanLing.
Survivors include her sons Donald Redden of Crawford, AL, Chuck Redden and wife Denise of Salem, AL, James Redden and wife Donna of Gilbertsville, KY, Eddy Jernigan of Phenix City, AL and Jody Parrish of Crawford, AL; sisters Betty Elliott of
Columbus, GA and Ruth Bragg of Phenix City, AL; brothers Leland Sharpe and wife Agnes and Homer Lockhart all of Crawford, AL; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
