Martha Kay Jones, 71, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, October 14, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Fugh officiating. A private family interment will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Jones was born January 4, 1940 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Joseph Jasper Jones and Geneva Edwards Nocera. She was a restaurateur.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Dewey Jones and his wife, Tanya of Columbus, GA, Lauren Jeanine Payne of Atlanta, GA, Michael Kevin Jones of Columbus, GA and Timothy Mark Jones and his wife, Sherri of Columbus, GA, sister, Betty Federinko of Phenix City, AL, and eleven grandchildren.
