Martha "June" "Honey" Bush, 83, of Phenix City, AL died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
Cryptside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend David Spiece officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Bush was born October 25, 1931 in Dothan, AL daughter of the late Wheatley and Cora Newton Pierce. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ulmont Bush, Sr., son, Ernest "Chuck" Ulmont Bush, Jr., and siblings, Ned Pierce, Jeannette Farris and Marie Doyle.
Survivors include her children, Michele Williams of Columbus, GA, Valerie Cohen (Jared) of Navarre Beach, FL, Eric Bush (Grace) of Seale, AL and Todd Bush of New York, NY, brothers, Jack Pierce and Jimmy Pierce (Katie) all of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Trish Johnson (Chris), Geoff Mills (Kerri), Stewart Mills (Paula), LaDon Worsley (Ashlee), Marnie Hearn, Julie Mills, Dustin Worsley (Janine), Stephen "T-Bo" Bush, Melanie Stewart (Brandon), Bridgette Simpson (Jonathan) and Tommy Bush, and twelve great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Canterbury Health Care Alzheimer's Unit 1720 Knowles Rd. Phenix City, AL 36869.
