Martha "Gaynelle" Blankenship, 78, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Magnolia Manor in Columbus, GA.
A graveside services will be held 10:00AM Friday, June 12, 2020 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Greer officiating according to McMullen Funeral home and Crematory. Guidelines set forth by the CDC and Governor Brian Kemp to maintain social distancing for those attending the funeral will be in effect.
Martha was born May 20, 1942 in Columbus, GA to the late Otis Turner and Gertrude Georgia Turner. She loved her family and her faith. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl "Bud" Blankenship and sister Annette Beach.
Survivors include her daughters, Kim Flake (Ken) of Columbus, GA, Terri Myers of Columbus, GA, son, Chris Blankenship of Warner Robins, GA, grandchildren, Jonathan Szot (Beth), Kendall Flake, Michael Carter and great grandchild, Makenlee Szot.
