Martha G. Alford, 78, of Cataula, GA died Monday, October 26, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory will require facial coverings and social distancing for those attending the visitation.
Martha was born February 19, 1942 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late A.W. Gibson and Ola Mae Davis Gibson. She loved to cook, sing, enjoyed helping others and she loved spending time with her family. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Alford, sons, David and Jeffery Alford and several brother and sisters.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Megan Alford Johnson (Chris) of Eastman, GA, Taylor Alford of Eastman, GA, great-grandchild Allie Mae and other family members.
