Marla Leigh Durham, 44, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Columbus Hospice House.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Marla was born April 15, 1968 in Union Springs, AL daughter of the late William Gordon and Gail Clayton Durham. She was an Insurance Specialist with the Medical Center of Central, GA and attended Glenwood School in Phenix City, AL and Nathanial Greene in Greene Co., GA.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Lottie and Carson Durham and maternal grandparents: Sophie and Lyman Clayton.
Survivors include one brother, Carson Durham (Niki) of Bloomington, IL, sister, Litha Hamilton (Tracy) of Columbus, GA, two nephews, Brant Hamilton and Brady Hamilton, and niece, Greer Durham.
The family would like to thank Columbus Hospice and all the nurses and physicians at The Medical Center of Columbus Ga. for the compassion they showed to her during her illness.
