Mark Risch Hartman, 62, of Columbus, GA, died Friday, September 9, 2016 at his residence, following a prolonged battle with Multiple System Atrophy.
Mr. Hartman was born March 8, 1954 in Columbus, OH, son of Sue R. Hartman of Hudson, FL and the late Joseph M. Hartman. He was an Evangelical Lutheran and a member of Holy Family Church. Before moving to Georgia 10 years ago, Mr. Hartman was a life-long resident of Ohio. He graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, OH and earned his Associates Degree from the University of Cincinnati/Raymond Walters. Mr. Hartman spent most of his career in various positions in financial services. He loved his wife and family, visiting with friends and family, fly fishing, golfing and playing games on the computer, including Fantasy Football.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Topper Hartman of Columbus, GA; daughters, Megan Lynn Hartman of Charlotte, NC, Kendra Jo Hartman of Nelsonville, OH; mother, Sue R. Hartman, of Hudson, FL; sister, Joella Mitchell (Thomas) of New Port Richey, FL; nephew, Scott Mitchell (Emily) of New Port Richey, FL; mother-in-law, Mary B. Topper of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law, M. Kathleen Walworth (James) of Dayton, OH; brother-in-laws, Joseph R. Topper, Jr. (Laurie), Boca Raton, FL and James M. Topper (Janet) of Bonney Lake, WA, 12 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
