Mark R. Glisson, 57, of Columbus, GA died Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Ronnie Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Glisson was born July 9, 1959 in Columbus, GA son of Betty Reeves Glisson of Columbus, GA and the late Bobby F. Glisson. He was a Registered Nurse and an avid Auburn fan.
Survivors other than his mother include his sister, Kathy Jordan (Ronnie) of West Point, GA, brother, Mike Glisson (Susan) of Auburn, AL, son, M. Reeves Glisson of Columbus, GA, nephews, Justin Jordan of West Point, GA, Tanner Glisson and Garrison Mitchell both of Auburn, AL, and niece, Kendall Glisson of Madison, AL.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312.
