Marjorie "Marge" B. Hall

Marjorie "Marge" B. Hall, 86, a resident of Columbus GA since 1973, died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Kindred Hospice.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 Pm, Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Please gather at McMullen Funeral Home at 1PM for simplified entry onto Ft Benning.
Marge was born October 24, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN, daughter of the late Dr. Joseph E. Ball and Virginia Volys Ball. She attended public schools in Indianapolis, graduating from Arsenal Technical High School in 1949 and then graduating from Indiana University in 1953. The wife of a career Army officer, Marge had lived in several different States and in Germany before coming to Columbus.
She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and was a Life Master Bridge Player; playing in competitive Bridge tournaments across the country. She was an avid sports fan and followed to her "hometown" teams; the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts very closely. Marge had a great sense of humor and was very funny.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col (Ret) Harry E. Hall and sister, Judith Thomas.
Survivors include her son, B. William Hall of Baton Rouge, LA; two daughters, Helen Elizabeth Hall of Columbia, SC and Anne Chapman (Alan) of Lawrenceville, GA; two grandchildren, Joy Elizabeth Chapman and Natalie Claire Chapman and brother-in-law, Robert Hall (Virginia) of Victorville California.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to The Fisher House.
