PHENIX CITY, AL - Marion Nell Whittle Uliaszek, 93 passed Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2009 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Van Dyke officiating. A private interment will follow at Girard Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 till 8 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St., Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Uliaszek was born October 29, 1916 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Sara May Cole Harden and Marion Moses Harden. She was a retired sales clerk and attended the Church of Christ in Phenix City. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jessie Mitchell Whittle and Michael Uliaszek, and brothers, Alfred Harden and Homer Harden.
Survivors include her daughters, Kay Nell Sowell (Morgan) and Judy Scarborough (Melvin) all of Phenix City, AL and Lyndal Perry (Richard) of Columbus, GA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and caregiver, Mary Seldon.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial contributions to Vista Care Hospice, 3615 S. Railroad St. Phenix City, AL 36867.
