Marie Ida Matlock, 90, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Vista Care at Franciscan Woods.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Gene Forehand officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Matlock was born September 21, 1921 in Thomasville, GA daughter of the late Cary Crawford Vick and Nancy Emmaline Hagan. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Lionel Matlock.
Survivors include her two daughters, Glenda Sizemore (James) of Newnan, GA and Wanda Fields of Conway, AK, son, Glen Matlock (June) of Richland, GA, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Vista Care Hospice 100 Brookstone Centre Parkway Columbus, GA 31904.
