Mariann Barnes Turner, 71, Columbus, GA., died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Columbus, GA., with Reverend Eric Estes officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Turner was born on January 27, 1943 in New Orleans, LA, daughter of the late Raymond Lee Barnes and Elizabeth Bauch Barnes. She was retired from the Tidwell Cancer Clinic.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Jackson Turner and sisters, Rae Karolyn West and Jane Barnes.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Pullen (Mike) of Senoia, GA; brothers, Robert Barnes of Nevada and Bill Barnes (Pat) of Colorado; brother-in-law, Dale West of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Justin Combs, Taylor Pullen, Ryan Combs, Rebecca Pullen,Madison Pullen and Tyler Combs; nieces and nephews, Scott and Robin West and Mitchell, Matthew and Rael Barnes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Columbus Hospice House 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909 or Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 4700 Armour Rd., Columbus, GA.
