Margie W. Wetherington, 93 of Columbus, GA died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 25, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Wetherington was born September 7, 1919 in Cordova, Alabama, daughter of the late John H. Williams and Minnie Bell Laird Williams. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Shellie T. Wetherington; daughter, Sandra Harris Hodge; son, Guerry Harris; sisters, Meredith Adair, Lanie Mobley, Ervil Duke and Lucy Armour and brother, Wilford Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Camille Wetherington Roberson and husband, Jimmie of Columbus, GA; son, Wayne Harris and wife, Cheri of Murfreesboro, TN; son-in-law, Gene Hodge of Columbus, GA; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
