Margie L. Lee, 75, of Columbus, GA died Monday, December 5, 2011 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Hilderbrand officiating. A private entombment will be held at the Chapel of The Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Lee was born June 27, 1936 in Malvern, AL daughter of the late Andrew Hall and Jimmie Wilkes Hall Campbell. She was a homemaker. She loved doing ceramics at the Gallops Center every week. She also loved spending time, especially on special occasions, with her family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin W. Lee.
Survivors include her daughters, Jan Hudgins (George K, III) of Cataula, GA and Donna L. Underwood (Michael M.) of Midland, GA, sisters, Betty J. Hunsinger of Columbus, GA and Marion Rice of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Ryne Hudgins, Caleb Underwood, Matthew Hudgins and Travis Underwood, and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial donations to Vista Care Hospice 2425 Williams Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
