Margie Lynette Brossett, 65, of Columbus, GA died Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 19, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Helms officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Brossett was born August 14, 1948 in Andalusia, AL daughter of Christine Dubose Thomaston and the late James Preston Thomaston. She was a medical Secretary for the Civil Service.
Other than her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Brossett and her daughter, Kara Brossett.
Survivors include her mother; Christine Thomaston of Waverly Hall, GA, sons; Garrett Brossett of Columbus, GA and Corey Vinson (Bridget) of Tampa, FL, Step-son; Bryan Brossett of Tampa FL, sisters; Cathy Diller (Craig) of Manchester, TN and Karen Nelson (Bill) of Columbus, GA, and 2 grandchildren; Austin Vinson and Ashleigh Brossett.
